Artwork is chosen by jury once a year. For the 2008 exhibit year requests to exhibit must be received by June 1, 2007. Please include a minimum of five photographs, CDs, or jpegs (sac@shiawasseearts.org) along with a short, written description of your work and biography. All materials will be returned if postage is provided. All work must be original and not have been exhibited prior at the SAC. All work must be professionally ready to hang (wired if 2-D). A minimum of 75% of the artwork must be for sale during an exhibit. Exhibitions run approximately 4-6 weeks. SAC responsibilities include printing and mailing invitations to each exhibit, labels, opening receptions with the artists, and all publicity. Commission rate for member artists is 65%/35% (2007), 60%/40% (2008), and 50/50 for non-members. SAC artist member rate for 2007 is $25 minimum and will increase to $30 in 2008.
