10^th Annual SAC Member Artist All-Media Exhibit

April 10 - May 20, 2007

The Shiawassee Arts Council invites all artists in any medium to participate in the 10th Annual SAC Member Artists Exhibition. All current, renewing and new SAC member artists are welcome to show and sell their work during the April 10- May 20, 2007 exhibit held at the Shiawassee Arts Center in Owosso. Artists may submit one piece of artwork in any medium for display. Artwork must be original (no reproductions), may not have been previously exhibited at the Shiawassee Arts Center and must be for sale. An entry fee of $5.00 is requested. During the exhibition visitors will be able to vote for the $100 People’s Choice Award. The show and the award are sponsored by Owosso Graphic Arts, Inc.

Nearly 100 artists participated in the 2006 exhibit displaying a diversity of styles and a range of media including watercolor, oil, printmaking, pen and ink, clay, photography, pastel, metal work, fiber and glass. Bonnie Brown of Corunna was the 2006 People’s Choice Award recipient.

Membership in the SAC is open to all interested persons. Artist membership is $25 annually. Member benefits include invitations to exhibitions and events, the newsletter Artsline, 10% discount on all purchases at the Arts Center and discounts on classes, trips and workshops. Donations to SAC benefit the community in many ways through scholarships and educational opportunities.
