The Shiawassee Arts Council is a tax-exempt, non-profit 501(c)3 organization working to develop programs and projects that will make
all the arts available to everyone in the area.
Membership is open to all interested persons.
Your support through membership, volunteer help, and program attendance is
greatly appreciated.

- Support for Gallery on the Go art appreciation program
- Multi-media art classes for children and adults
- Monthly featured art exhibitions
- $2,000 annual scholarships for Shiawassee County high school art students
*Donations to the Shiawassee Arts Council qualify for Public Contribution Tax Credits on both state and federal taxes. Michigan taxpayers can reduce their tax liability by a credit of 50% (maximum of $100 for individuals and $200 for couples filing jointly). A Federal tax credit of 25% may be taken for those filers who itemize.
