Art & Music Recital at the Shiawassee Arts Center

A special recital of young musicians who support the arts in our community will be held Sunday, February 21, 5 - 7pm at the Shiawassee Arts Center.

Featured artists are Alyssa Renwick on piano, Cutler Ludington, vocal, Travis Parker-Waybright, piano, Joyce Westbrook, piano, Trevor Granssley, guitar and vocal, Christian Heiney, guitar and vocal, Inigo Azqueta Gavaldon who is an exchange student from Spain, cello and Riley Owen, piano and vocal. Alyssa in the coordinator for the event.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and are available from the musicians and also at the Arts Center. Refreshments will be served. All proceeds benefit the Shiawassee Arts Center.

The Arts Center is located next to Curwood Castle at 206 Curwood Castle Drive in Owosso and is open Tuesday through Sunday, 1-5pm. The Arts Center features the artwork of local and statewide artists in eight galleries including the Frieseke Gallery and a specialty Gift Shop. The public is welcome and there is no admission charge. The Shiawassee Arts Council, celebrating its 38th anniversary in 2010, is a non-profit corporation whose mission is to encourage participation and appreciation of the arts.
